Project Description
Whole Home Renovation – Owen Sound
This 1890s house needed a lot of love. The various wallpaper, pink toilet/tub and shag carpet throughout the house were severely outdated. The house still had old knob and tube, galvanized plumbing and original windows.
The walls were taken back to the studs and spray foamed throughout, Windows and doors were all replaced. Electrical, plumbing and heating were updated and replaced. Timber Frame accents were added to the new custom made kitchen and the front entry.
The four-roomed main floor was opened up into a completely open concept living floor plan. A new main floor powder room was installed and the laundry room was moved from the basement up to the second floor where all the bedrooms are located. The high-end quartz countertops accompanied with custom cabinets make the kitchen a large focal point of the house. The upstairs 4-piece bathroom provides a contemporary design to a late Victorian styled house.
The exterior also received a new face-lift and the garage was re-cladded and painted.
